WHEN COMPARISON IS AVAILABLE
Use a Supplied Route When Comparison Is Needed
Plan Comparison is available when a valid route is supplied for the completed event. If no valid route is available, Field IQ can still produce the supported recorded path and simply omits the comparison.
A Neutral Comparison, Not a Judgment
The comparison describes geometry. The review team decides whether the difference matters in context.
EXPLICIT HANDLING
- Valid supplied route: comparison produced
- No valid route: comparison omitted; recorded path remains available
- Invalid or unsupported evidence: no forced result
